Ingredients
- 1/2 head green cabbage, thinly shredded
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or aioli → foundation)
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp celery seed
- Salt, pepper
Method
- Toss cabbage and carrots with all dressing ingredients.
- Refrigerate at least 30 min — the salt draws out moisture from the cabbage, which thins the dressing to the right consistency.
- Adjust seasoning before serving.
