Ingredients

  • 3 cups day-old rice
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken
  • 2 tbsp kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek (chili paste)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 shallots, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • Cucumber, tomato, fried shallots for garnish

Method

  1. Fry shallots and garlic in oil 1 min. Add chicken, 1 min.

  2. Add rice, press flat, sear 1 min, toss. Repeat.

  3. Add kecap manis, soy sauce, sambal. Toss until evenly coated.

  4. Fry eggs sunny-side up. Serve rice topped with egg, cucumber, tomato, fried shallots.
