Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp cumin, 2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt
  • Pita, pickled onions, tomatoes, lettuce for serving
  • Garlic sauce: 1/2 cup yogurt + 2 garlic cloves minced + 1 tbsp lemon juice + salt

Method

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, oil, spices, garlic, lemon, salt for 1–4 hours.

  2. Roast at 425°F for 25–30 min until charred edges.

  3. Slice thin. Serve in pita with garlic sauce, pickled onions, tomatoes, lettuce.
