Ingredients
- 2 cups cabbage, finely shredded
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup dashi or water
- 4 strips bacon or thinly sliced pork belly
- Toppings: okonomiyaki sauce (or mix ketchup + Worcestershire), Japanese mayo, bonito flakes, nori flakes, pickled ginger
Method

Mix flour, eggs, dashi into a batter. Fold in cabbage.

Pour half the batter into an oiled skillet. Lay bacon strips on top. Cook 4 min until bottom is golden.

Flip carefully. Cook 4 min more.

Top with okonomiyaki sauce, mayo (in zigzag lines), bonito flakes, nori.
