Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt, pepper, pinch of allspice
  • Butter for frying
  • Serve with: boiled potatoes, red cabbage, gravy

Method

  1. Mix pork, onion, egg, flour, milk, salt, pepper, allspice until smooth and slightly sticky.

  2. Form into oval patties using two spoons (traditional shape).

  3. Pan-fry in butter over medium heat 4-5 min per side until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. Serve with boiled potatoes, braised red cabbage, and brown gravy.
