Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Blackening: 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp cayenne, 1/2 tsp thyme, 1/2 tsp oregano, salt, pepper
  • Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Toss shrimp with melted butter and blackening seasoning.

  2. Heat cast iron until smoking. Sear shrimp 1.5 min per side.

  3. Serve with lemon wedges over rice, in tacos, or on salad.
