Ingredients

  • 1 bunch thick asparagus, trimmed
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Black pepper
  • Parmesan shavings, lemon zest

Method

  1. Wrap each asparagus spear (or bundle of 2-3 thin spears) with a slice of prosciutto, spiraling from bottom to top.

  2. Place on a sheet pan. Drizzle with oil, season with pepper (no salt — prosciutto is salty).

  3. Roast 400°F for 12-15 min until prosciutto is crispy and asparagus is tender.
